Die Senotaafsaal – Voortrekkermonument
Die Senotaaf is die sentrale fokuspunt van die Monument.
Die woord “senotaaf” beteken ‘n “graf sonder beendere”. Dit is dus ‘n leë graf – die simboliese rusplek van Piet Retief en al die ander Voortrekkers wat tydens die Groot Trek gesterf het.
Die Senotaaf is van rooi graniet uit die omgewing van Parys in die Vrystaat vervaardig. Dit neem die vorm aan van waterrimpels wat wyer en wyer na buite uitkring, met die Senotaaf as middelpunt – simbolies van ‘𝐧 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐤 𝐧𝐚 𝐯𝐫𝐲𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐝 𝐰𝐚𝐭 𝐨𝐩 𝐤𝐥𝐞𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐤𝐚𝐚𝐥 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐭, maar uiteindelik ‘n magtige golfbeweging in die geskiedenis geword het, wat vandag nog sy golfslag laat voel.
Dr Miriam Makeba Concert Hall
Intimate modern concert hall with 200 seats.
Located on the Unisa Muckleneuk Campus in the Theo van Wijk Building (right at the back of the building);
It has a separate entrance on ground level, clearly marked Dr Miriam Makeba Concert Hall on the side of the building;
Wheel chair entrance on the southern side of the hall.
Encore Theatre
In 2009, the small and intimate Encore Theatre Hatfield based, opened its doors in the heart of the city. With the outset of this theatre, patrons carried the original chairs from the old Capital Bioscope on Church Square. The soft curves of the stage ensure that everyone has a seat to take and that the atmosphere is electrical. Here, we mix nostalgic and classic items, including modern lightning and sound to ensure that every production is a compelling experience.
Endler Hall
The 556 seater Endler Hall is known for its excellent acoustical characteristics. It is equipped with Marcussen tracker-action organ with 44 stops, three manuals and pedal. Two Bösendorfer 280 pianos are also available. The hall is used for concerts, recordings, radio- and television broadcasts, graduation ceremonies, as well as conferences.

Fismer Hall
The Fismer Hall is suited exceptionally for a smaller audience. The hall can seat 200 people, when filled to capacity with loose chairs. Fitted with 60 fixed chairs the hall also boasts a wooden sprung floor, suitable for movement classes. The hall also boasts recording studio facilities and lighting to facilitate video recording.

Rosalinda Ontwerp
After designing, building and decorating her own home 42 years ago, friends started asking Linda for advice. Her love of sewing and designing soft furnishings with a difference, led to orders and the beginning of a business. The name Rosalinda came up when Maryna Roos joined her.
The workroom in Silverton expanded rapidly, and her sister Maryna Roux took over the production line. Linda helped clients to choose fabrics, furniture and colour schemes to fit their lifestyles, from her Studio in Bailey’s Muckleneuk, and did the installations.
In 2013 her daughter, Katinka, returned from England , where she had a decor shop for which we exported curtains etc.
Now Rosalinda Ontwerp is based in 1004 Justice Mahomed Street in Pretoria, where there is a wonderful Decor Shop that include a library room full of textiles and wall paper samples.
Sand du Plessis Theatre
The auditorium is unique in South African theatre architectural design. Provided with continental seating (no centre aisle) and separated entrances for various rows, the auditorium has no distinct balcony, but is divided into four staggered seating areas, giving its occupants a sense of intimate surroundings. The auditorium has 954 seats.

Star Theatre
The HCC (Homecoming Centre) of the District Six Museum, is a multi-purpose eventing and education space and an amalgamation of arts, performance, learning and community.
It features purposeful spaces including the Star Theatre, the Avalon Auditorium, Bits 'n Pieces Galleries, Tafel, workspaces and an on-site cafe run by the team at the HCC Cafe.
Each space has its own story to tell and like District Six itself, celebrates the rich culture and history before it.

Voortrekker Monument: Hall of Heroes
The Hall of Heroes is the main central hall of the Voortrekker Monument. It is a high domed hall, 25x25x41 metres, with marble floors and an impressive marble frieze (92 metres long and 2,3 metres high), depicting historical scenes from the Great Trek.
Four huge arched windows made from yellow Belgian glass flank the hall and give the impression that the area is a revered place, like a temple.
Below the Hall of Heroes is the Cenotaph Hall, and museum.
Wilge Teater
Wilge Teater is a purpose built theatre hosted by Hoërskool Die Wilgers and managed by PALI Incubation.
This partnership ensures a steady flow of both young and experienced artists while placing the theatre in a unique position to serve a community that is eager to support the arts.
With 135 seats, the theatre manages to deliver an intimate theatre atmosphere while delivering at a very sophisticated level.

ZK Matthews Great Hall
The ZK Matthews Great Hall is a concert hall of international standard, with seating for 1000 people. It is one of the few concert venues in Pretoria that can accommodate so large an audience. The acoustics, with a reverberation time of two seconds, are perfect for a concert hall in which a variety of music forms are performed.
The plush foyer, graced by the portraits of previous chancellors of the university, sets the atmosphere for your event, whether this is a musical concert or a large business convention.
